Ulla M. McBroom, 69, of Crossville, TN passed away on October 11, 2011.  Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral  will be on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mike Kerley officiating.  Burial will be in the Fredonia Cemetery. 

 Ulla was born in Cumberland County on December 5, 1941 to Burnett and Pearl Tabor.  Her passion for most of her life was education as she spent 10 years working at Martin Elementary as a teacher’s assistant and served three terms on the Cumberland County Board of Education.   

 She is survived by her husband, Glenn McBroom, son, Michael Scott McBroom, mother in law, Irene McBroom, nieces, Jennifer Graham and Rachael Davis, and six grandchildren, Jacob McBroom, Joshua Scott McBroom, Caleb McBroom, Ethan McBroom, Chris Graham, Maddy Graham. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Steven Glenn McBroom, and brother, Donald Tabor.
