Alma Claudean Beasley, age 84, was born on January 31, 1930 to Erastus and Winnie Baxter in Moss, TN and passed away on January 3, 2015 in Crossville, TN. She was a housewife who loved life in general, chasing her grandchildren, spending time with family, and laughing through it all. Although a household chore, she loved to can food from the garden, enjoyed flowers, and thought of herself as a buttermilk connoiseur. Her favorite color was pink and wore it frequently.

She is survived by her son- Donathan Granville Beasley; daughter- Wilma Paulette Beasley; grandchildren- Michelle Rimes (Darrell), Misty Ann Beasley, Chris Beasley (Tracy); great grandchildren- Dakota, Caroline, William, Sam, and Isaac; brothers- Cornell and Jimmy Neal Baxter; and sister- Carroll Bledsoe.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband- William Herman Beasley; parents Erastus Paul Baxter and Winnie Iva Hestand Baxter; and several brothers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday January 4, 2015 from 3 to 6 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Monday at 11:00 with burial following in Rinnie Cemetery. Bro. Arlon Way will be officiating.
