Red was born on June 29, 1936 to the late Maurice & Leah Marmon. He served and retired from the USAF; and also retired from Honda Manufacturing in Marysville, OH.
Red accepted Christ in 1994 and has served Christ faithfully since in the Freewill Baptist Churches. He has been a member at the Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church for 10 years.
Red lived life with a servant’s heart and lived to serve others. He touched many and our hearts will forever be grateful that we witnessed the love of Jesus he shared with so many. Thank you for an amazing legacy that you left to us… it truly was an honor and privilege to know you.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at First Freewill Baptist Church in Crossville. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Mike McCoy officiating.
Red is survived by his wife Polly Marmon, of Crossville, TN; dog: Prince Buddy Ming; daughters: Donna [Jon] Roggelien of Three Rivers, MI, and Miriah [TJ] Smith of Marysville, OH; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents: Maurice and Leah [Hunt] Marmon; brothers: Kenneth Marmon and Earl Marmon; sons: Kenneth Marmon, and Dean Marmon; daughter; Dottie Papst.
