Charles went home to be with our Lord and Savior Sunday, October 9th at his home in Pleasant Hill, TN. He fought a good fight, but lost his battle with cancer.
HIS LIFE
Charles was born in West Palm Beach, FL. His parents were Fredrick William and Gladys Evelyn Carter, both ordained Ministers in the Free Methodist Church.
He had two sisters, Gertrude who died at birth, and Virginia Ann who also lost her battle with cancer. He also had a surviving brother John Hadley, affectionately called Jack.
He was drafted into the military during the Vietnam War and served honorably.
He worked for thirty years as an accountant with Pratt and Whitney in Florida.
He would most want to be remembered for his ardent love for the Lord and his family. He spent every opportunity giving praise to his savior.
He served the Lord well as a music minister, visitation minister, and Sunday school teacher.
