Our dear, beloved son, brother, uncle, father, and friend Christopher Lynn Dishman was born on Monday, September 21, 1970 in Muncie. Indiana to Steve and Janet Dishman. Our Lord and Savior took him on Sunday, December 8, 2013.

“BIG Chris” had resided in Crossville, TN for 31 years. He was a 1988 graduate of Cumberland County High School where he graduated with honors. He was a loving and supportive Dad, whose life was consumed with the care and of his two sons Christopher and Curits. He loved his boys and they were his world. “BIG Chris” was a faithful helper and friend to his Dad, Steve as they ventured out each week in their carpet business. Their memories and times shared will be treasured forever. He was a loving and caring son and brother who knew the value of family and the importance of love and care for one another.

“Big Chris” is survived by his parents Steve and Janet Dishman, sons Christopher and Curtis Dishman and their mother Patti (Sage) Dishman, brother Bryan Dishman wife Nancy, sister Radhika Miller husband Andrew, nieces – Destiny and Gracee Dishman, Sofi Miller and Cami Keck, nephews – Dustin and Dylon Dishman, Trystan Miller and Kyle Keck, and great-nephew Branson Case Keck. “Big Chris” is also survived by so many people that loved and cared about him including an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

“Big Chris” was preceded in death by his loving grandparents Felix and Lovie Dishman and Howard and Clara Belle Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Christopher Lynn Dishman “Big Chris” to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 12 at 1:00 pm with Bro. Donnie Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memory Gardens. Pallbearers are Dustin, Bryan, Andrew, Dirk, Desi, Todd, Mark, Dylon, Kyle and Trystan.

    Radhika & family, and brother Bryan and family: We can only express our
    deepest sadness and sympathy for you at the loss of Sweet “Big Chris.”
    He was dear to our hearts too and was always good to us, welcoming
    and happy to see us. He will be sadly missed but will live in our hearts forever and our memory of him will be precious . I know God will hold him in His loving and Mighty arms until we can see each other and be together again someday. May God comfort you is our prayer.
