Robert Jarvis Prater, 69, of Crossville, TN passed away on December 4, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. A celebration of life will be held on December 28, 2013  at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 PM with Military Honors at 2:00 PM.

Robert was born on Feb. 20, 1944 in Sparta, TN to Robert Edgar and Ann Chittick Prater. He served in the United States Navy.

Robert is survived by son; Bobby Prater; daughter: Stephanie Arnett both of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren: Tyler Arnett, Sienna Prater, and Leni Prater; sisters: Kathy Haynes (Alan), Margaret Wicker.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Ann Chittick Prater;  aunt and uncle Harry & Cecil Chittick; brother-in-law: Rush Wicker.
