Billy Charles Kelly, age 67, of Crossville was born on July 7, 1944 in Rockwood, TN. He died on September 10, 2011 at the Cumberland Medical Center. He was raised in Crossville and moved to Detroit, Michigan and worked at Detroit Diesel. He was drafted into the Army and served his country for two years as a Sergeant in the Korean War. After retiring in Detroit, Billy moved back to Crossville. His hobbies were fishing and working on his 1950 Ford. He loved his Lincolns and they will be driven by family following the hearse in the procession.
He is survived by his Mother- Gladys Kelly of Crossville and two stepchildren-Wayne Ball (Kay) of KY and Brenda Ball of MI. He has several grandchildren and numerous family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his Father, Norman Kelly and daughter Vickie Kelly.
His visitation will be at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011 from 5 to 7 pm. His funeral service will be on Wednesday Sept. 14, 2011 at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Leffel Webb Cemetery. Bro. Sammy Webb will be officiating. The pallbearers will be Bill Chastain, Nick Messina, Wayne Ball, Tim Tutor, Gerald Lewis, and Gary Rohraff.
