Gail, age 92, was born on October 14, 1918 in Shippenville, PA. He died at Cumberland Medical Center on September 3, 2011. He was a salesperson for a company that sold glass bottles and has been a member of the Edenburg Lodge of Free Masons in PA since 1946. He enjoyed bird watching and spending time with his grandson.

 He is survived by his son- Jeffrey Smith and Pamela of Knoxville, grandson- Andrew Smith and Sarah of Knoxville, two great grand children- Katelyn and Drew, and a sister-in-law- Sue Exley and John T. of Toledo, OH. He is preceded in death by his wife- Constance Ann Smith, parents- Pearly Augustine and Blanche Pearl Smith, brother- Jay Smith, and sisters- Marion Bell and Betty Pullease
