Lloyd “Red” Williams, 87, of Crossville, TN passed away on September 16, 2013. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. Burial will be on Friday, September 20, 2013 in Union Cemetery, Newport, TN at 11:00 EST.

“Red” was born on November 25, 1925 in Cock County, TN to William Roy and Zora Steele Williams. He enjoyed dirt track racing and farming.

“Red” is survived by sons: Sam Williams and Rick Williams; daughter: Linda Keagle all of Crossville, TN; Five grandchildren; Three great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: wife: Edith Williams; daughter: Brenda Williams; brothers: David Andrew Williams, and Williams Gerald Williams; sister Mary Sue Williams.
