Dalson L. Seaver, 89, of Crossville, TN, formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away on August 27, 2013 at his residence. A memorial service will be on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Fairfield Glade with Rev.Jenny Barnes, and Rev. Douglas MaGinn officiating.  Dalson was born on December 23, 1923 in Akron, OH to Orin and Clara Elizabeth Spristerbach Seaver. He served in the United States Navy during WWII on a four stacker destroyer. Dalson was an 82 year member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Akron, Ohio.  He enjoyed wood working, square dancing, and tool sharpening.

Dalson is survived by sons: David L. Seaver  (June) of Crossville, TN, Gary B. Seaver (Linda) of Canal Fulton, OH, Don K. Seaver of Crossville, TN; 4 grandchildren: Jeffrey D. Seaver, Shaun Seaver (Stephanie), Shannon Seaver, and Amy L. Seaver; 3 great grandchildren: Emma Seaver, Brooklyn Seaver, and Abigail Seaver; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Mildred R. “Billie” Seaver.
