Nina Frances Myers, 71, of Crossville, TN went home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Gary Howard officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Big Lick, TN. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Nina Myers to Cumberland House or Hospice of Cumberland County. Pallbearers will be Ken Hooks, Odell Whittenburg, Ken Quarles, Donald Selby, Hayden Shadden, and Curtis Sickmiller.

Nina was born on June 21, 1942, in Big Lick, TN, the daughter of James L. and Gladys Selby. She was retired from being a certified nursing assistant for 30 plus years. Nina was a homemaker, enjoyed flower gardening, quilting, crocheting. She really enjoyed bossing the family around.

Nina was preceded in death by daughter Debra Sisk;  and parents. She is survived by husband: Lawrence Myers; daughters: Verna Shadden (Wayne) of Crossville, TN, and Rita Sickmiller (Robert) of Marietta, GA; brothers: Jay Selby (Shirley) of Tunnel Hill, GA, and Ted Selby (Barbara) of Dalton, GA; sisters: Patricia Smith, and Doris Selby both of Columbus, NC, and Barbara Selby of Tryon, NC; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all who sent cards, came to visit, and prayed for their loved one. They are grateful for the overflowing amount of love that has been shown during such a difficult time.
