Ruby Mae Jordan, 95, of Crossville, TN passed away on August 21, 2013 at Life Care Center of Crossville. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Mark Woody officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn at Pomona Cemetery. 

Ruby was born on May 1, 1918 in Crossville, TN to Marion and Effie Lewis Rector. She is survived by children: Wilma McElhaney of Crossville, TN, Diane Parham (Terry) of Bradyville, TN,  Joyce Smith (Ernie) of Tullahoma, TN,  Anna Bollinger (Steve), and Bronda Woody (Mark) all of Crossville, TN; 21 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren; and 31 Great Great Grandchildren; brother: Troy Rector. Special recognition to Jimmy Wheeler, and George McElhaney. 

Ruby was preceded in death by: Parents; husband: Otis Gibson; sons: Thomas Gibson, and Olin “Hot Shot” Gibson; brothers: Thurman Rector, Alvan Rector, and Richard Lewis; grandson: Stevie Bollinger; great grandson: Nicholas Wheeler
