James Madison King, Jr., 69, of Crossville, TN passed away on August 5, 2013 at Cumberland Medical Center.  He was born on May 30, 1944 in Loudon County,TN to James Madison King and Beulah Lee Berry King.

Funeral Service will be on Friday August 9, 2013 2:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Roger Burgess officiating. Family will receive friends on Thursday August 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Tolletts Chapel Cemetery.

James enjoyed fishing, watching sports, news, going sightseeing, and riding 4 wheelers.

James is survived by Nephew Darrell Whittenburg and Missy Hall whom he lived with. Nephews: Kyle Whittenburg, Jerry King; niece: Tammy Adams (Timmy); great niece Jessica Whittenburg; great nephew Josh Harper (Kayla) and baby Mia; other close family members; brother David King.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Harry King, and Thomas King; sisters: Carrie Boggs, Pearl Whittenburg, and Minnie Ann King.
