Lola Elizabeth Bowman, 77, of Crossville, TN passed away on July 11, 2013 at Wharton Nursing Home. She was born on May 31, 1936 to Herman and Lucy Painter Hendley in Crossville, TN. Lola enjoyed sewing, and cooking. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and reading the Bible.

Family will receive friends on Saturday July 13, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Sunday July 14 at 1:00 pm burial will be in Bowman Cemetery. Bro. Dan Hively and Timothy Geer will officiate.

Lola is survived by her husband Glenn Bowman; son Gary Bowman (Connie); daughter: Patricia Geer (James); grandchildren: Nicole Dabbs (Russell), Matthew Geer (Rebecca), Timothy Geer (Misty), and David Geer; great grandchildren: Taylor Dabbs, and Mia Michelle Geer; brothers: George Hendley, Edward Hendley, and Frank Hendley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Silzer “Allen” Hendley
