Eugenie Saegebrecht, 75, of Sparta, TN passed away on June 30, 2013 at Cumberland House. She was born on April 9, 1938 to Peter and Maria Ferket Clarysse in Deklinge, Belgium. Eugenie was a smuggler of cheese, shoes, and various articles from Belgium to Holland during WW II. She and her husband owned a custodial care business. She enjoyed going fishing, playing with her dog, and sitting on her back porch enjoying nature.

Eugenie is survived by sons: Paul Saegebrecht (Linda), and Richard Saegebrecht (Elizabeth); grandchildren: Charlie, and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Werner Saegebrecht; brother: Omer Clarysse.
