Raymond Miller King

Raymond KingRaymond King, age 82, was born on June 29, 1930 to Harry and Julia King in Altoona, PA and passed away on June 12, 2013 in Crossville, TN. He was a Tool and Die Maker for Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed working in his workshop and has made several pieces of furniture. The outdoors was also his passion, including hunting and camping. He enjoyed traveling, and has visited all fifty states. Raymond was an active member of Central Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife- Mona Mae King; sons- David King (Sue), Robert King (Beverly), and Paul King (Mary); daughters- Linda Schropp, and Judy Hall (Marvin); grandchildren- Jess, Jill, Julie, Kristine, Michael, Matthew, Amanda, Brian, Alex, April, and Cory; two great grandchildren- Caitlin,and Channing; and brother- Lloyd E. King.  He was preceded in death by his parents- Harry Curtis King and Julia Catherine Miller King; brother- Roy King; and sister- Dorothy King.

Family will receive friends on Saturday June 15, 2013 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Service will follow at 3 with Pastor Roland Smith officiating. Burial will be in City Cemetery. Memorials can be made in Raymond King’s name to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund.
