Everett J Creason, age 86, of Crossville, TN passed away on May 25, 2013 at the Life Care Center in Crossville, TN. He was born in Crossville, TN on August 14, 1926 to Berry B.A. Creason of Fentress County, TN and Mary Ethel Potter-Creason of Morgan County, TN. Everett was the oldest of seven children. They were raised on a farm. While in the Army, he served in World War II. After serving his country he went to Ohio and worked in the Steel Mills. Everett was a carpenter/ construction worker, for Thomas Hale, Jr. construction company. He worked there for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, watching game shows and train shows, and working on his tractor and pick up truck.
The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 4 to 6 with funeral service to follow at 6. Burial will be the next day at 10:00 AM in Crossville City Cemetery.
Everett is survived by his wife Kathleen Curtis-Creason of 56 years, of Crossville, TN; daughter Gwenda Goddard and son in law William E. Goddard of Crossville; siblings Helen Beaty and Eula Schubert of Galion, Ohio; Jean Largent and Ruby Rooker of Nashville, TN; Norman Creason of Sparta, TN; Many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, and two children.
