Cecile Jackowski, 93, of Crossville, TN passed away on May 16, 2013 at Good Samaritan Society. She was born on February 17, 1920 in Schenectady, NY to Roman and Mary Tyralski. Cecile as a young woman, during WWII worked at General Electric, Schenectady. She as well as many young women worked in accord with the efforts of the war. Cecile then began a book keeping career at Wilson Meat Packing.
Up on retirement she was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed baking, visiting grandchildren, and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
Cecile is survived by her husband John Francis Jackowski; son John Francis Jackowski, Jr. (Elizabeth); grandchildren Allison Thorsen (Ken) of Cincinnati, OH, John Francis Jackowski, III (Melissa) of Cumming, GA, and Katherine Jackowski of Nashville, TN; great grandchildren Chloe, Ella,and Sam Thorsen, Cecilia, and Isabell Jackowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Helen, Eleanore, and Jane.
