Glenn Shipley McBroom, 73, of Crossville, TN passed away on May 7, 2013. Glenn was born in Double Springs, TN to John Plesant McBroom and Edna Irene Nation McBroom.  He retired as a truck driver after 47 years, Glenn also was a volunteer firefighter. In his free time he enjoyed dirt track racing and fishing.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 1-2pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.

He is survived by his mother: Edna Irene Nation McBroom; son: Scott McBroom;  grandchildren: Josh McBroom, Caleb McBroom, Ethan McBroom, Jake McBroom; great-grandchild: Joseph Scott McBroom.

He was Preceded in death by his wife: Ulla Mae Tabor McBroom; father: John Plesant McBroom; and son: Steve Glenn McBroom.
