Dorothy Mae Bailey

Dorothy Mae Frances Bailey, 82, of Crossville passed away Aug. 30, 2011 at her home. She was born September 27, 1928 to Charles and Marie Bernard Sedgebeer in Covington, KY. She is survived by her husband Richard Bailey of Crossville, Son Bill Bailey of Fort Myers, FL. and grandson: Billy J. Bailey;  Daughter: Kathy Bailey Owens. Sisters: Patricia Hogeback and Clementine Huff.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

  5. I was very lucky to have met Dorothy Mae… She gave me welcome and open friendship when we met in Fort Myers.. So very pretty, lighting up the world around her…that is how I knew her….. her son is my son-in-law.. To you and your family ,Bill , my love …I am so proud to have met her.

Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

  10. Dotty was like a second mother to me. She had great wisdom and always a kind word to her family and friends. She was a hard worker always had a plan. My love and respect for her will never die. My respect and love to her family. Her daughter and son were and still are my best of friends. Althought miles seperate us our connection is strong. This wonderful lady will never be forgotten.
