Glenda Alein White

Glenda Alein White , age 68, was born on June 26, 1944 to Glenn and Maxine Holmquist Foltz in Birmingham, Michigan and passed away on April 13, 2013 at home with her daughter by her side in Crossville, TN. She had a career as a postal worker and was a people person enjoying shopping, bowling, dancing, traveling and playing cards. She loved helping people and is said to have given wonderful advice.

Glenda is survived by her daughter- Amy White Lesoski; sons- Jeff White (Chris) and David Gugin (Karen); daughter-of-the-heart – Georgena Stagman (D.J.); grandchildren- Robert Lesoski, Alex and Zachary White, Sara, Joe, and Nick Gugin, Molly and Jeffrey Stagman.

She is preceded in death by her husband- Robert Leroy White Sr.; parents- Glenn Foltz and Maxine Holmquist Foltz; and grandchild- Nathan Gugin.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 11 to 2 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2. Pastor David Lampman  will officiate. In lieu of flowers an educational fund has been set up for her grandson Robert Lesoski at Upper Cumberland Federal Credit Union.

  1. Glenda, I’m so glad I have got to know you years ago. I would talk to Amy regularly about you. You are very loved. Such a wonderful woman. Heaven gained another ANGEL. I know Amy & Robert are heart broken, but they also know, you are in peace now. Til we meet again <3

I always loved Glenda…she was my sister-in-law for many years and has remained a friend throughout the years…I’ll never forget her and her nickname for me was “Riter-Pooh”…I can hear her say it to me now! Glenda..I expect to see you waiting for me at the gate in heaven alongside with mom and dad. I am so sorry I never got you called right before your passing. I love you…till we meet again…..Riter-Pooh

  5. Grandma, its been 11 years now since you’ve been gone. I miss you so much and I haven’t really gotten over you passing. I still think about you alot, how I used to call you Grandma Jello, how we went to Aunt Carol’s alot.. I know you’re watching over me and mom, but I hope you’re proud of who I’m becoming. Im doing all of this for you Grandma Jello!
