Lane Parsons, age 52, was born in Crossville, TN to Fred and Hattie Parsons on October 27, 1960. He passed away on April 11, 2013 in Knoxville, TN. He was a construction worker and enjoyed working on cars and working on anything outside.

He is survived by his sons- Bradley Parsons (Jeanie) and Daniel Parsons (Ashley); grandchildren- Brooke, Madison, Bryson, Haley, Nevaeh, and Lasean; brothers- Fred Parsons Jr. (Christie) and Wayne Parsons (Barbara); sisters- Lucille Keyes, Diane Price (Ronald), and Frances Poore (Keith); with many nieces and nephews.

Lane is preceded in death by his parents- Fred Parsons Sr. and Hattie Mae Norris Parsons; brothers- R.C. Parsons and James Earl Parsons; and sisters- Mamie Lou Parsons and Helen Elmore.

The family will be receiving friends Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Pomona United Methodist Church from 5 to 6 PM with a memorial service to follow at 6. Pastor Jerry Mayo will officiate. Burial will be in the Creston Cemetery.
