Beryl was born Nov. 2, 1912 in Sparta, TN to Fred and Maggie Beam. She became an elementary school teacher after recieving her bachelor’s degree. She was the wife of the deceased Fulton Gaines Rowland and had a son, Charles. In her 98 years, she enjoyed playing cards, reading, scrapbooking, and crocheting. Her favorite shows to watch were her “games and soaps”. 

She is survived by her son, Charles Rowland and wife Judy, both from Texas; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Kimberly, and Amy; and sister Margaret Potter from TN

Beryl was preceeded in death by her husband, Fulton Gaines Rowland; her parents, Fred and Maggie Beam; one grandchild, Caryn; a sister, Bernice and three brothers, Woodrow, Fred Junior, and Noah. The family will recieve friends on Monday, August 29 from 4 to 7 with a service to follow. She will be buried the next day in the Mt View Cemetery in McMinnville at 2 o’clock.
