Carla Dawn Ellison, 59, of Wilder, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. Born on July 5, 1953 to Carl and Lillian Winninger Tedrow in Indianapolis, IN. Carla, a school teacher and principal who graduated college with a degree in Biology and Education enjoyed reading, collecting books, and gardening. Carla was a gifted writer and an extra-ordinary teacher. She was employed at Life Care, Cookeville, TN. In addition to her life profession, Carla was a very serious, born again, Spirit filled Christian and a member of Monterey Worship Center where she was also the official Secretary/Treasury on the church board.
She is survived by her husband Ron Ellison; son Joshua Ellison; daughter Sarah Ellison; and granddaughter Thea Ellison. Carla was preceded in death by her parents.
