Gregory Paul Penrod, 81, of the Fairfield Glade community, passed away on March 21, 2013 at his home. Gregory was born on October 4, 1931 to Harry Gustin and Mary Elizabeth Smith Penrod in Detroit, MI.  He will be laid to rest in Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville, MI.

He worked for Ford Motor Company as a Supervisor. Gregory enjoyed woodworking, baseball, hockey, and golf -sports.

He is survived by his wife: Shirley Mae Steele Penrod; sons: James Harry Penrod (Patricia Boger), Gary Herbert Penrod (Lydia), David Joseph (Jean), and John Norman (Milissa); daughters: Nancy Kay Penrod (Thomas Hannula), Kathryn Mary McKenna, and Susan Lynn Stewart; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother: Norman Penrod; and sister: Hazel Driver.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Stephen Gregory Penrod, and Michael Gerard Penrod; brothers: Michael Penrod and Douglas Penrod.
