George Allen Stone, age 78, was born on August 23, 1934 to Tom and Jane Stone in Crossville, TN and passed away there on February 9, 2013. His occupation was farming and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his brothers- Gaither, Eurice, and Floyd Stone of Crossville, TN, and Oliver Stone of Gainesboro, TN; sisters- Susy Thomas of Crossville, TN and Buelah Galliher of Hermitage, TN.; many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife- Christine Stone; parents- Thomas Woods Stone and Jane Music Stone; brothers- Gager and Sam Stone; and sister- Flossey Stone.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 11, 2013, from 6 to 9 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. His funeral service will be Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at 2:00 pm with Mike McCoy and Gary Howard officiating. Burial will be in Haley’s Grove Cemetery.
