G. Donald Finnan formerly of Wappingers Falls, NY and Glen, New Hampshire passed away August 8, 2011 in Crossville, TN after seven weeks of illness. Mr. Finnan was born July 17, 1927 in Newport Rhode Island to Grant Sr. and Emma (Vogt) Finnan. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

He graduated in 1945 from Wappingers Central School and immediately enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He graduated from Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY in 1978. He retired from IBM, East Fishkill, NY after 38 years where he was a System Analyst. During the 1970’s he served as a town councilmen for the town of Wappingers and as a Dutchess County Representative.

Don will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 27 years Judith Farr-Finnan; his four step-children: Brooke and Jonathan of N.H.; Kelly of VT and Allison of FL. Seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
