Alida Mae Creason was born to Meridia and Rosie Jones on September 4, 1936 in Cumberland County, TN. She passed on January 28, 2013. She devoted her life to her loving family and made sure she helped anyone she could. Alida was a wonderful wife and an amazing mother. She enjoyed music, dancing, crafts, flowers, gardening, cooking for her loved ones, and making her homemade candy.

She is survived by her husband- Norman H. Creason; son- David Creason; daughter- Patrica M. and Larry Rich; grandsons- Kyle and Kevin Creason; sister- Frances Jones Caruthers; brothers- Dayton Jones, Alton Jones and Clayton Jones.

Alida is preceded in death by her father- Merida Jones; mother- Rosie Ella Jones; granddaughter- Jerreta Lynn Baker; grandson- Larry Rich; sister- Orbie Jones Hall; brothers- A.L. Jones, Fred Jones, Clay Jones, and Herbert Jones.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and service will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 10 AM. She will be laid to rest on at Robinson Chapel Cemetery following the service.
