Wilkie Loretta (Eldridge) Cole was born to Lester and Elizabeth (Robbins) Eldridge on August 4, 1933 in Overton County, TN. She died on January 25, 2013 with a loving family surrounding her.  She married Raymond Cole on January 21, 1950. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her family and homemaking came first and foremost. But outside of the home, she was a supervisor at Roselon Southern for 20 years and at FFM for 10 years. Wilkie was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and enjoyed quilting and gardening.

She is survived by her children- Danny and Janice Cole, Roger and Teresa Cole, Lester Sr. and Mary Cole, Linda and Art Woody Jr., Darryl Sr. and Dixie Cole, and Tammy and Robert Clark Jr.; 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; sisters- Lois White, Morean Randol, and Glinda Clouse; and brothers- John, Bill, and Mitch Eldridge.

Wilkie is preceded in death by her parents- Lester and Elizabeth Eldridge; her husband- Raymond Cole; brothers- Bob, Ed, Paul, Howard, and Hugh Eldridge; and sister- Elna Eldridge.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and the service will be on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 12:00 noon. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Green Acres Memory Gardens following the service. The pallbearers will be her grandsons- Andy, David, Mark, Lil Lester, Lester III, Lil Art Woody, and Will Bell. There will be three honorary pallbearers- Lil Darryl, C.W.O. 2 Michael Cole, and Zack Clouse.
