Douglas H. Simpson, Jr., 74 of Crossville, TN., died on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Hospice House of Cumberland County. He was born and raised in Spring City, TN.  He worked at TVA for several years. Douglas enjoyed making music, fishing and riding four-wheelers.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Treadway Simpson; his father Douglas Howard (Brother) Simpson, Sr; his son Douglas Howard (Dougie) Simpson III. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Simpson; his daughter Debra Johnson; his granddaughter, Sunnie Johnson; his grandson, Dale Johnson, Jr. brother, James Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Douglas’ life is being held at the Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, 2653 N. Main Street, Crossville, TN.  on Wednesday, January 23, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (CT). In the community room around back.
