Elvis Matheny, Jr. 82, of Crossville, passed away on December 28, 2012 at Cumberland Medical Center. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 31, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.

He was born on  June 11, 1930. Elvis is survived by his wife Joanne Houston Matheny; son David Matheny (Diane); sisters Dorothy Hutson, Odean Morris, and Carol Fodge; brothers William Eli Matheny and Earl Matheny; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter Gloria Sessums; sister Virginia Morehead and first wife Faye Hutson-Matheny.
