Thomas “Tommy” Ray Hinch, Sr. 73, of Crossville passed away November 7, 2012 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday Nov. 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with Bob Kastens officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2 on Saturday. He will be laid to rest in Crossville City Cemetery. Honor Guard will provide Full Military Honors and serve as pallbearers.
Born on June 20, 1939 in Crossville, TN to Ray U. and Lora Burgess Hinch. He served in the United States Marines . He loved being a Marine and serving his country , also participated with the Young Marines. Tommy enjoyed fishing, hunting, and mowing yards. He was a boxing Golden Glove Champion in 1958 and 1959; a Vol and Green Bay Packer fan.
He is survived by his wife Janet Odom Hinch, son Tommy Ray Hinch, Jr. and wife Elizabeth; grandchild Ellie Marie Hinch; brothers: Randy, Johnny and Richard Stevens; sisters: Nettie, Margie, and Marcia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Felita Marie Hinch and brother Wayne Stevens.
