Douglas Caldwell, age 59, was born December 11, 1952 in St. Petersburg, FL and died October 13, 2012 in Crossville, TN. He was a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser, respiratory therapist, and had a medical degree from Italy. He was a Padi scuba diving instructor, member of Mensa, a Kentucky Colonel, enjoyed gemology and had previously taught lapidary at Duke University. Douglas loved scuba diving, boating, weapons collecting, motorcycles, and Florida.
He was survived by his wife- Kathryn Kittel Caldwell; father-in-law and mother-in-law- Glenn and Darlene Knobloch; special cousins- Trisha, Pam, and Donna along with others.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Samuel Rice Caldwell and Martha Kithcart Hobach and a loving niece Lori Roess.
In celebration of his life he will be cremated and scattered off the shores of St. Petersburg, Florida by his loving wife and friends.
