Sammy Ray Pyles Obituary (1953

Sammy Pyles, age 69, was born on August 29, 1953 to Woodrow and Verde Pyles in Crossville, TN and passed away on January 20, 2023 in Crossville. Sammy was of the Christian faith and Baptist Denomination. He enjoyed building cabinets, watching racing, and most of all, spending time with his family, especially his grandson. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Ball) Pyles; children Hannah Rae and William Samuel; grandson Thomas O'Neil; special nephew CJ Pyles; and nephew Steven Pyles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow Robert and Verde Ellen (Harvey) Pyles; daughter Tina Pyles; and brothers James, Melvin, Bobby, Herbert, Roger, Tommy, Elmo, and Jackie Pyles. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2022 at Crossville City Cemetery beginning at 12:00pm, Wayne Matthews officiating. Pallbearers include CJ Pyles, Robby Pyles, Roger Pyles, Stacy Pyles, Gerry Turner, Bobby Ball, and Mike Farr.
