Leta Kathleen Barnwell Obituary (1939

Leta Kathleen Barnwell, 80, was born on May 10, 1939 to Johnny and Hazel Hamby Carter in Harriman, TN. She passed away on February 26, 2020. Leta was a cabinet craftsman who took pride in assembling each piece she worked on. She also enjoyed sitting down and reading a good book. She is survived by her children, Regina Kay Reagan (Tim), Gilbert Leon Barnwell, and Roger Dale Barnwell (Lela Mae); April Michelle Barker (Bobby), Rocky Davenport, Addison and Payton Reagan, Billy Joseph Barnwell (Corey), Cody Barnwell, and Michael and Anthony Walker; and great grandchildren, Cole, Emma, Wyatt, Johnny Luke, and Willow Ann. She is preceded in death by her, parents; husband, Gilbert Barnwell; son, Billy Barnwell; grandson, Dustin Barnwell; and siblings, Avis Norton and Eunetta Crisp. Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 12 to 2 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services for Leta will also be held on Saturday following visitation with Ralph Reagan officiating. She will be laid to rest in Haley's Grove Cemetery.
