Laurence M. Smith, Jr. passed peacefully on November 19, 2022. He was born to Laurence (Mike) Smith and Evelyn Smith on June 26, 1941 in Detroit, MI. He is survived by his wife Emma (Ruth) Smith; children Debbie (Joe) Vollmer, Rhonda (Marcos) Ramos, and Laurence M. (Heidi) Smith, III; sister Patricia Lazlo; daughter-in-law Karen McGee Defer; 18 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Laurence (Mike) and Evelyn (Beauregard) Smith; son Charles Hurley; and grandson Daniel Hurley. A Memorial service will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with the service at 2pm; Joey Smith officiating.
