Finley Bainbridge Brown Obituary (1934)

Finley Bainbridge Brown, age 90, was born on October 2, 1934 to Arthur and Victorine Brown in Louisville, KY and they later made their home in New Albany, Indiana. He was a hospital chaplain and a church pastor for many years, including being a chaplain for the Bay Shore Yacht Club. He enjoyed sailing, fishing, woodworking, playing poker, painting with watercolors, photography, writing, and reading in comparative religions and mysteries. He is survived by his son-in-law John Helms, his cat Betsy, and many friends, colleagues, and Uplands Village care partners. Finley was preceded in death by his parents Arthur Finley and Victorine (Leist) Brown; his wife Carol Lee Blackburn; and his daughter Susanne Helms. There are no services scheduled at this time.
