Elbert Garrison, Jr Obituary (1934

Ebert Garrison, Jr, 87 of Ann Arbor, MI passed away on November 15, 2021. He was born May 22, 1934 in Putnam County, TN. In 1956, Mr. Garrison married Doris Tinch in Crossville, TN. He worked for General Motors in Anderson, IN retiring in 1992. He is survived by five children: James Garrison, Fortville, IN; Michael (Jolinda) Garrison, Anderson, IN; Jeffrey Garrison, Bartow, FL; Starr (Brett) Gilman, Alexandria, IN; and Jennifer (Joe) Heckendorn, Ann Arbor, MI. He is also survived by siblings Susie (Henry) Farley, Crossville, TN; Lillie Garrison, San Fransisco, CA; Peggy Barnes, Crossville, TN; and Sonny ((Gladys) Garrison, Crossville, TN. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Garrison, on February 4, 2003 and his son, Victor Kevin Garrison, on December 3, 1963; also by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. There will be a Graveside Service held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00pm at Crossville City Cemetery.
