Dwayne Lynn Davis, Jr. Obituary (2022)

Dwayne Lynn Davis, Jr. died Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the age of 30. He was a Cumberland County resident his entire life. He is survived by his wife, Amy Long Davis of Higdon, Alabama and their two children Paisley Grace (2) and Michael Carson (6 mos.); his mother Kelly (Stan) Tabor; father Dwayne (Amy) Davis; siblings Kara Davis, Briley Davis, Renee Barnum, and Austin Tabor; grandparents Kenneth and Rita Martin, Tony and Anita Davis, and grandmother Charlotte Tabor; in-laws Troy and Beth Cloud; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dwayne loved spending time with his children and family. He graduated from TCAT (TN College of Applied Technology) in 2013 with a certificate in Industrial Electricity/Maintenance. He worked in maintenance for the Cumberland County Board of Education as well as the Cumberland County Community Complex and more recently did HVAC work in Sparta. He also had his own lawn care business that he enjoyed immensely. He worked and volunteered countless hours for the Cumberland County Rescue Squad and worked at Centennial Park where he grilled burgers and did lots of other jobs to help out. He had a big heart for his family and friends and will be terribly missed. Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Visitation will be from 9am-12pm with the service to follow at 12pm, Danny Smith and Thom Hassler. Burial will be in Houston Buzzard Roost Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cumberland County Rescue Squad or to the Paisley and Carson Memorial Fund @ One Bank of Tennessee c/o Stan & Kelly Tabor.
