Delmer K. Burgess, age 67, was born on December 9, 1951 to Allen and Lillie Mae Burgess in Cumberland County, TN. He passed away on June 26, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Janice Burgess; children, Dewayne (Theresa) Burgess and Charlotte (Kevin) Walker; grandchildren, Brittany (DeAlan) Marr, Grace (Derrick) Dixon, and Timm (Sarah) Walker; and siblings, Roger (Pam) Burgess, Willis (Debbie) Burgess, Marvin (Diane) Burgess, Doyle (Marla) Burgess, Aster (Fannie) Burgess, Mamie Cole, Treva (Joey) McKinney, Frances (Randy) Irwin, and Darlene (Dave) Bell. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Joyce Croft, Diane Walker, and Alma Downs. Graveside services for Delmer were held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in Allen Burgess Cemetery.
