Cora Nyhuis

Cora Virginia (Ginny) Hardin Nyhuis passed away at her home in Crossville, Tennessee, on November 23, 2025, at the age of 92. She was born to Butler and Maggie Allen Hardin, on February 12, 1933, in Argo, KY. In life, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her four children, Marcia Fromkin (Ronald), Craig, and Brian Nyhuis, all in Florida, and David Nyhuis in Texas. Seven grandchildren, Steven, Robert, Daniel, Scott, Audrey, Cassandra, and Madelynn, and 1 great-grandchild, Ronald Evan, and her brother Jimmy Hardin.

Cora was predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Willard “Bill” Nyhuis, her parents, her sisters, Mable Gayheart and Martha Combs, and her brothers, Butler Hardin Jr., Thomas Hardin, Leonard Hardin, and Francis Hardin.

Cora graduated from Grundy High School and attended college in Richmond, Virginia.

Cora was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
