Artie Ellen Moore Obituary (2011)

Artie Ellen Moore, 74, of Crossville, TN, passed away on December 5, 2011. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 on Thursday, December 8, 2011. A memorial service will be held immediately after the visitation at 7:00. Artie was born on April 30, 1937 in Phoenix, Arizona, to Robbie and Beulah Mae Pogue. She enjoyed many kinds of sewing, particularly sewing for her family. Artie loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a woman you could count on for anything. She is survived by her children, George Moore, Donnie Moore, Christa Moore, Martha Roberts, Cynthia Bayless, and Candy Wood. She has 24 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. She has two sisters, Mae Dean and Ruby Tifft. Artie had many special friends, Shelby Tollett, Susan Henry, and Kathy Thomas. She also had many 'adopted' children, Alisha Turner, Joseph Dunn, Renee Burd, Darryl Roberts, and Cashley Lenard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Moore, her parents, daughter, Myra Taylor, and grandchildren, Christopher Moore and Joseph Taylor. Her family would like to give many special thanks to her Home Health Nurse, K.C and her caregiver, Holly.
