Arta Gaye Brown Obituary (1931

Arta Gaye Brown, age 86, was born on December 19, 1931 in Sparta, TN to Robert and Lou Brock Richardson and passed away May 26, 2018 in Sparta, TN. She was a cook in one of our local school's cafeteria and as a result had a large family of children. She enjoyed working in her flowers and gardening, sewing, fishing, playing cards, and playing with her grandchildren. They were the apple of her eye. She is survived by her children- Debbie Hensley (Allen), Dwana Deck (Randy), Joey Brown (Robin), Sheri Nichols, and Lisa Latrenta; grandchildren- Eric (Chasidy),Tammy (Jay), Jo (Cory), Heather (Linkous), Hannah (Dilan), James (Carlyn), and Vanna (Joey); and great grandchildren- Kylee, Chloe, Jason, Emma, Alli, Amelia, Thaid, Letty, Bentley, Caysen, Luther, Pearl, Calvin, Knox, John, and Daniel. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 9 to 11 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home with service to follow at 11 with Mike McCartney officiating. Burial will be in New Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
