Albert (Al) W. Williams, 85, of Monterey has entered the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on January 4, 2018. Al left this world peacefully, at home, surrounded by the love of his life-Angie, along with family and friends. Al's passing will be deeply felt by all who know and love him and especially at his home church Dripping Springs Independent Baptist Church of Monterey. The family will receive family and friends on January 13, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Dripping Springs Baptist Church, 2684 Junior Camp Road, Monterey TN. A Celebration of Life Gathering will follow at 3:00 pm. During his nearly 20 years of service with the Putnam County Veterans Honor Guard Al paid tribute to 1,964 veterans who have gone on before him. As one of their own, the Honor Guard will now pay tribute to him during his Celebration of Life gathering. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dripping Springs Baptist Church Youth Group or to the Putnam County Veterans Honor Guard. Enjoy your new home Al....Until we meet again.....
