Charlene was preceded in death by her best friend Miss Frankie June Davis.

Even though we know she is with Jesus and June now, Charlene will live on forever in the hearts of us that loved her. Her Hilltopper family will miss her beautiful soul and million-dollar smile. Seeing the joy and pleasure on her face when she was eating fried chicken and butterbeans, her giggle when Frances called her “Dinnerbucket” and her just getting tickled for no reason at all. Her house family misses watching her dance to Michael Jackson and saying, “Let’s go somewhere” and watching her bow her head with her hands clasped in prayer and quietly saying, “Jesus wept.”

Thank you, Charlene, for allowing us to share in the joy and love you brought to our lives.
