After one of those excursions, he met Barbara Hays, a traveling nurse in Farmington, NM. They were married in 2005 at Lake Tahoe, CA. In 2006, Randy retired from the city of Woodland, CA and they moved to Costa Rica for some jungle adventures, returning to the states for Barb to finish her nursing career. He was a devoted husband to Barb for 16 years. He loved his family dearly, even though not living close, he cherished the times he had with them. He will be greatly missed.
