Betty Sue Robinson, age 81, was born on July 24, 1941 in Crossville, TN to Andrew Wyatt and Bertha England Wyatt and passed away on March 16, 2023 in Knoxville, TN. She was a medical secretary but was most proud of the family she raised. She enjoyed singing, watching movies, and eating junk food.
She is survived by her children- Gerry Turner (Loretta), Teri Beck, and Jeff Turner (Tami); grandchildren- Erica Croft (Matt), Heather Beck, Amanda Masters (Jon), Emilee Turner, Lucas Turner (LeighAnn), and Matthew Turner (Rylie); great grandchildren- Easton, Lila, Briar, Charlie, Easton and Waylon; and siblings- Glenn Wyatt, James Wyatt, Johnny Wyatt, Richard Wyatt and Martha Robinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings- Karen McMann, Deborah Jones, and Elbert Ray Wyatt. The family will receive friends at Bethleham Baptist on Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 1 to 3 with funeral to follow. Bro. Mark Bass will officiate and burial will be in Woody Cemetery.
Sondra Rector, age 64, was born on April 2, 1958 to Thurman and Wanda Rector in Crossville, TN and passed away on March 13, 2023 in Crossville.
Sondra loved spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed singing, dancing, yard saling, and thrift store shopping. She was the most generous and caring person. To know her was to love her.
Sondra is survived by her daughter Meka Doxtator; grandchildren Dominick Doxtator, Cylas Barrier, Tylo Barrier, and Skyler Eller; great grandchild Levi Scholl; and siblings Linda Brown, Juanita Eller, Gail Whittenburg, Judy Garrett, Rickey Rector, Susie Brown, and Bunk Rector.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thurman Rector and Wanda Muriel (Marsh) Rector; and siblings Creda Brown and Cathy Rector.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7pm with the service to follow at 7pm, Dennis Barrier officiating.
Kenneth Ray Guillory, age 86, was born to Adam and Cecile Trahan Guillory in Lake Charles, Louisiana on October 17, 1936 and passed away on March 10, 2023 at 12:30 am, in Crossville, Tennessee. Kenneth retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army. He served 2 tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed the outdoors and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Jean, children – Cynthia Sullivan (James), Bruce Guillory (Lisa), Dale Guillory (Missy), and Lisa Wainscott (Jeff); fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and siblings – Larry Guillory and Julie Reeves.
The family will receive friends at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 14th from 9:30 to 10:00, with a service to follow. Father Michael will officiate with burial at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.

Danny Scott Hale, age 59, was born on July 9, 1963 in Crossville, TN and passed away on February 28, 2023.
Danny loved hanging out with his children. He enjoyed messing with old cars, and being a farmer, he really enjoyed feeding the cattle, but his favorite thing to do was ride his old dog, Cheyenne, around.
He is survived by his parents Fred Stout and Pam (McDonald) Stout; sons Jacob Hale, Jayson (Kelly) Hale, and Jon (Callie) Hale; grandchildren Jackson, Sawyer, Brody, and Hadley; siblings Steve Hale, Donna Muse, and Debra Holt; and of course, his four-legged best friend, Cheyenne, and Aunt Sharon Hyder.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-3pm with the service to follow at 3pm, Tony Holt officiating.
Nicole Victoria Brooks-Siems, age 32, was born on April 11, 1990 and passed away on February 26, 2023. She had a prosperous career in corrections at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex. She loved the outdoors, going to heavy metal concerts, lifting weights at the gym and living life to its fullest. She was a rule breaker, not a law breaker, and went against the norms of society. She was smart and could do anything she set her mind to.
Nicole is survived by her mother- Jodie White (Daniel), son- Braxton Myers, brother- Jim Brooks, other siblings- Daniel White, Christopher White and Darlene Marks, and grandmothers- Victoria Goins and Marilyn White. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers- Mick White, Larry Lange and Ronald Goins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, from 12:00 to 5:00 with an honor guard service at 5:00.

Celebration of Life & Promotion to Heaven for Lorna Dean Allen
Lorna lived a full and faithful life of 79 years, passing peacefully on February 22nd, 2023.
She was born April 20th, 1943 in Carter County, Kentucky, to the late Noah Everett and Madelyn McGlone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Curt (Shirley) McGlone and brother Lowell (Linda) McGlone.
Lorna loved her Lord and Savior and dedicated her life to her family. She was a faithful wife and devoted mother. She leaves a wonderful, Christian legacy to her family and friends. She also served in her local church, First Church of the Nazarene, through lay ministry and as a steward.
She enjoyed bible studies and personal devotions, reading, viewing and discussing wholesome shows and movies, listening to quartet performances, visiting the beach, and cooking meals for and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roy Jay Allen, sons, Scott (Sue) Allen and Mike (Mary Jane) Allen, and daughter, Tara (Shane) Abbitt; grandchildren Josh (Heather) Butcher, Jay (Liz) Allen, Jessica (Garrett) vonBerge, Meaghan Allen, and Libby Abbitt; great-grandchildren Quinn, Poe, Atlas, and Aksel Butcher, Aubrie and Lillie Allen, Zeke, Xander, and Xavier vonBerge; brother, Leon (Barbara) McGlone, sister, June (Don) Hutchinson, and brother, Horace (Shirley) McGlone; and many other family and friends who she dearly loved.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 26th from 2-5 PM at First Church of the Nazarene, and again on Monday, February 27th from 10-11 AM. The service to celebrate Lorna’s life will follow at First Church of the Nazarene, 2565 N. Main Street, Crossville, Pastor William Bonee officiating. Burial will take place at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, 76 E Adams Street, Crossville. Jennifer Matthews, age 48, was born on December 2, 1974 to Jackie and Virginia Ashburn in Hinsdale, IL and passed away on February 16, 2023 in Crossville, TN.
Jennifer is survived by her parents Jackie Robert Ashburn and Virginia Gale (Davis) Ashburn; husband William Larry Matthews, Sr.; children William Larry Matthews, Jr., Travis Robert Matthews, and Michael Tyler Matthews; and brother Jack Columbus Ashburn.
Services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with a Graveside Service to follow in Jonesville Cemetery at 3pm, Mitch Hawn officiating.
Brant H. Brown, age 61, was born on September 27th, 1961 to Delene F. Givens and Larry W. Brown in Walla Walla, Washington and passed away in Crossville, Tennessee on February 15th, 2023.
Brant grew up in the Seattle, Washington area and spoke fondly of his childhood in Federal Way and Glenoma, Washington. He described some of his happiest early memories as playing, picnicking, and learning to swim with his sister, Shelley and identical twin brother, Brian at Riffe Lake near his grandparent’s home. He moved to Tennessee in the early 1980s, helped operate his mother’s store on Hwy 70, and then worked in customer services and accounting at Lake Tansi, Tennessee for 15 years.
He enjoyed gardening most of all, a hobby he was able to share with his late beloved mother. His other interests included wildly spicy food, stained glass crafts, traveling, and witty comebacks. Brant was best described as ornery and lovable. Family meant more to him than anything else in the world and seeing his sons start families of their own brought him great joy. He was delighted by his grandchildren and loved watching them play.
He is preceded in death by his parents– Delene and Larry; uncle– Rodney Smith; as well as his grandparents– Arlene Grace and Delmer Q. Smith, and Evelyn and Wayne Brown.
Brant is survived by his sons– Michael Brown (Layla Franklin) and Branson “Boo” Brown (Rachel Gardner); four grandchildren– Briley, Ava, Karter, and Lilly; siblings– Brian Brown (Lavonda), Shelley Marshall (Steve), and Cassy Givens (Jamie Dillard); nieces and nephews– Amber, Stevey, Jessica, and Chris; his fiancé– Scarlet Holmes and her son Landon Holmes (Lauren); and many beloved friends and relatives.
Brant will be dearly missed and always remembered.
