Charlotte Ann Lewis

Charlotte Lewis, 73, was born on May 31, 1949 to Otis and Jean Campbell in Crossville, TN. She passed away on June 7, 2022 at her home in Crossville, TN.

She is survived by her husband Pugh Lewis; children Jerry (Amber) McAnally, Terry (Honey) McAnally, Chuck (Amory) Lewis, Leslie (Brandon) Letner, and Jason (Lori) Lewis; grandchildren Brandon, Cody, Jaxon, Taylor, Tucker, Alexis, Stuart, Andy, Makenzie, Destiny, Tyler, and Jacey; great grandchildren Chloe, Jameson, Harper, Tegan, Bentley, and Garrett; and dogs Penny Jo and Petey.

She was preceded in death by her parents Otis Frank and Jean (McCowan) Campbell and siblings Kenny and Polly Campbell.

Charlotte was the matriarch of the family. She loved having all of her children together and holding family functions. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, and bowling.

Services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm with the service to follow at 12pm. Her remains will be buried in Green Acres Memory Gardens immediately following the service.

Danny E. Wilson, Sr.

Danny Wilson, 64, was born on May 5, 1958 to Eston and Ollie Wilson in Crossville, TN. He passed away at his home on June 2, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a hunter and a fisherman. Danny was married to his wife, Teresa, for 45 years.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa A. Wilson; children Chrissey (Mica) Wanamaker, Danny E. Wilson, Jr., Nelson (Amber) Wilson; those he considered as children Chrystal Walker Perdue and James Simmons; grandchildren MJ Wanamaker, Emily Wanamaker, Ethan Wilson, Allie Smith, Trinton Wilson, and Autumn Mae Wilson; and siblings Mary (Ben) Tabor, Paul (Mary) Wilson, Ronnie (Kathy) Wilson, and Jerry (Paula) Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Posey and Amy Wilson; maternal grandparents Alfred and Eliza Lewis; parents Eston E. and Ollie (Lewis) Wilson; and siblings & spouses Elbert (Lois) Wilson, Eleanor (Ray) Wilson, Uldean (Dwyne) Stone, and Amy Lee (Owen) Bolin.

A Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Thomas Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be at 4:00pm with the service to follow at 5:00pm.

Matthew Ryan Smith

Matthew Smith, 34, was born on May 30, 1987 to Steven and Kathie Smith in Savannah Georgia. He passed away on May 29, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

He is survived by his wife Heather (Wright) Smith; parents Steve and Kathie Smith; sister Jennifer (Rob) Zanin; and paternal grandmother Jean Smith.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Fred Smith and Joyce Grantham; and maternal grandparents Jack and Gretchen Rehkemper.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Lantana Road Baptist Church at 6:00pm.

Hulon “Wink” Paul Lewis

Hulon “Wink” Lewis, 90, was born on May 9, 1932 to Ulus and Hattie Lewis in Benedict, TN. He passed away on June 1, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

He is survived by his children Ricky (Lucille) Lewis, Gary (Kelly) Lewis, Karen Lewis; grandchildren Erica, Robert, Charlie, Jeremy, Jessica, Nikki, Justin, Kenny, and Zach; great grandchildren Tristan, Ashton, Robbie, Michael, Lilly, Jocelyn, Kinsley, Haley, Jordan, Aaron, Ian, Kadie, Evan, Riley, Jace, Angel, Joseph, Johnathon, Zoe, Hannah, and Kelsey; great great grandchildren Adalen, Kanaan, Seth, Taylynn, Anikin, Riley, Kelly, and Bryson; and siblings Elease Wynacht, Diane Burgess, Margaret Elick, and Cathy Lowe.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ulus Lincoln Lewis and Hattie Lee (Brewer) Lewis; wife Lena Tilda Lewis; several siblings; children Michael Lewis, Eugene Lewis, and Kenny Lewis; and great grandchild Shaylin Lewis.

The Funeral Service will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, June 3, 2022. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm with the service to follow at 12pm. He will be buried in Leffle Webb Cemetery immediately following the service.

Betty Lou Irvin

Betty Mayberry Irvin was born November 23, 1932, in Algood, Tennessee. In 1953, she met a charming young man by the name of Bill Irvin, from Nashville. In 1954, they married and raised three daughters. Once both retired with each daughter grown and married, Bill and Betty packed up in 1993 and moved to Lake Tansi. Before that, Betty had an award-winning career as a regional manager for a major photo processing company. She reunited with her loving husband of 59 years and met the good Lord on May 31st, 2022. She leaves behind her three daughters, Stephanie, Amy, and Celeste, in addition to, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Randy Frances Madison

Randy Madison, 77, of Crossville, TN went to be with the Lord May 2, 2022. He died peacefully holding his wife’s hand after a three and a half month battle with pneumonia and multiple strokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andy and Lilly Madison of Walsenburg, CO and his first wife Carole Madison of Woodland, CA.

Randy is survived by his wife Barbara Madison (Crossville, TN); sisters Peggy Clymore (Spokane, WA), Connie Schlotsfield (Grand Island, NB), and Roxanne Hartman (Pueblo, CO); children Linda Smith (Seattle, WA), Charlene Hildahl (Tacoma, WA), Larry Alan Madison (Spokane, WA), and Randi Caron Jacobs (Big Lake, Alaska); step children Christi Hays Stanley (Edgewater, FL) and William Hays (Benton, AR); also numerous grandchildren, step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one spoiled Pomeranian, Kallie, that he proclaimed as his blonde girlfriend.

Randy spent 32 years in the U.S. Navy. Retiring in 2001 as Senior Chief in the Seabees. His military career took him away quite often, doing 3 yours in Vietnam, tours in Spain, Guam, and Alaska.

For 10 years, Randy attended a cattle drive with his best Navy buddy, Jerry Griffin, and a group of friends and coworkers. There were many “tales” from those outings, driving cattle up the mountains near Durango, CO, setting up camp for Elk hunters, and driving the cattle back down before winter. After one of those excursions, he met Barbara Hays, a traveling nurse in Farmington, NM. They were married in 2005 at Lake Tahoe, CA. In 2006, Randy retired from the city of Woodland, CA and they moved to Costa Rica for some jungle adventures, returning to the states for Barb to finish her nursing career. Barb retired in 2019 and they moved to Crossville, TN in 2020. Randy was loved by everyone that met him. A caring and generous man, he never met a stranger. He was a devoted husband to Barb for 16 years. He loved his family dearly, even though not living close, he cherished the times he had with them. He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at Pomona United Methodist Church (POW Camp Road, Crossville, TN) on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Pomona United Methodist building fund.

Lloyd Roland Miller

Lloyd R. Miller, 80, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 29, 2022. Lloyd was born in Tower City, PA and attended college in Allentown, PA. He was ordained and served in ministry with the Wesleyan Church for 44 years, and pastored Greer Wesleyan Church for more than 30 years. During that time he also ministered with God’s Word and music at several local nursing homes and was awarded Volunteer of the Year for the state of Ohio one year for that service.

Lloyd especially loved being with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, baseball, fishing, music, chalk drawing, and oil painting. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene, Crossville. He always believed that the church was not a building but the people.

He is survived by his wife Linda; daughter Laura (Emmett) Sparks of Warsaw; son Michael Anthony (Emilie) of Mount Vernon, OH; son-in-law Scott Kohler of Danville, OH; grandson Cody Kohler of Jonesboro, IN; granddaughters Crysta (Brad) Asberry of Crossville, Bridgette Miller, Wrynn Miller, and Mattie Miller of Mount Vernon, OH; great grandchildren Kainen Scott Saville, Fisher James Saville, and Leonovi Trace Asberry all of Crossville, TN; sister Barbara (Roy) Pennycuff; and brothers Harvey Miller and Irwin Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Solomon Miller and Gertrude Anna (Ritzman) Miller; son Randall Scott Miller; daughter Tracey Kohler; and brothers Russell Miller and George Miller.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:30am at First Church of the Nazarene, Crossville.

James Robert “Rob” Conder

Rob was born on October 5, 1968 in Indianapolis, IN. He lived in Crossville, TN with his family until his passing on May 19, 2022.

He was a golf course superintendent for many years and was an award winning chef.

Rob is survived by his wife Sharon Conder; son Dylan Conder (Erica); daughter Destiney Kemmer (Chris); sister Wanda Sexton; nephew Ryan Sexton; mother Betty Conder; grandchildren Robby, Logan, Bentley, Aurora, Trae, and Taylor.

He was preceded in death by his father Jim Conder; brother Chris Conder; and his son Drew Conder.

Terry Lee Wood

Terry Lee Wood, age 60, passed away on May 25, 2022 at his home. Terry was born on December 10, 1961 in Miami, FL to William Gerald Wood and Georgia Matte Gunter before relocating to Crossville, TN where he lived his entire life.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing, and farming. He never met a stranger and had a huge heart. He had no greater love or devotion than he had for his family and friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, William Gerald Wood and his brother Keith Gerald Wood. He is survived by his mother, Georgia Matte Gunter, his brothers Paul Gregory Wood and Shane Mitchell Wood, his life partner Valerie Becker and their daughter Jayden Becker.

Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral home on Thursday, June 2, 2022. We will be receiving friends from 1-3pm; Service at 3pm with the Graveside service immediately following at Big Lick Hillcrest Cemetery.

Jerry Don Trotter

Jerry Trotter, age 79, was born on May 19, 1943 to Willard and Annabelle Trotter in Parrish, AL. He passed away on May 25, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

Jerry enjoyed golfing, gambling, and spending time with his family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife Diana Trotter; children Scott (Kelly) Trotter and Jeff (Jessica) Trotter; grandchildren Christian, Mathew, Riley, Kaylee, Sophia, and Cody; great grandchildren Gavin and Parker; and siblings Bobbie Barton and Kay Grondin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willard and Annabelle (Evans) Trotter; and family members Kenneth Trotter, LaWanda Manasco, Donald Trotter, and Ronald Trotter.
