James Blane Dickenson

James Dickenson, age 64, was born on September 2, 1958 to Elmer and Fannie Dickenson in Crossville, TN. He passed away on December 25, 2022.

James is survived by his wife Debra Ann Dickenson; children Josh Hyder, Blake (Pam) Dickenson, Ryan Dickenson, Trevor Norris, and Jessica Stephens; grandchildren Hailey, Jaxson, Journey, Grove, Nora, Oliver, Teddy, and Miles; and brothers Clarence (Susie) Dickenson, Larry Dickenson, and Elmer Junior Dickenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Fannie Lou (Hale) Dickenson; son D.J. Wyatt; half brother Wayne Sherrill; and sisters Wanda Garrett and Linda Dickenson.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with the service to follow at 2pm, Pastor Mike Kerley officiating. Burial will be in Pomona Cemetery immediately following the service.

Patricia Kay Holt

Patricia Holt, age 69, was born on May 31, 1953 to the late Carl and Francis (Sparks) Burriss in Portsmouth, OH. She passed away on December 24, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

A Memorial service will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, 2022. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with the service to follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery immediately following the service.

Elsa Mary Edmonds

Elsa Edmonds, age 80, was born on March 8, 1942 to the late Adolf and Dorthea (Keever) Jarner in Dawson, MN. She passed away on December 12, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

She is survived by her husband James Richard Edmonds Sr; children Adrienne (Odie) Conner of Crossville, Mitchell (Cynthia) Edmonds of San Antonio, TX and James R. Edmonds Jr. of Crossville; 9 Grandchildren; and 13 Great Grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Dorton Methodist Church from 11am to 1pm, Pastor Tim Lewis officiating.

Timothy Earl Whitmill

On Saturday, December 10, 2022, Timothy Earl Whitmill, age 74, loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away. Tim was born in Paradise, California, on October 8, 1948, to the late Robert Whitmill – surviving wife, Patricia, and the late Eleen (Scott) (Whitmill) McCulloch.  The Whitmills moved to Tennessee in 1962. Tim was inducted into the Armed Forces of the United States on February 11, 1969. He served in the Army 37th Med Co. 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment. On February 14, 1995, he married Joy (Hergenreter) (Kivett). Together they have a blended, beautiful, loving family and wonderful friends. He worked at Nichols Fleet Equipment for 20 years from 1995-2015 at which time he retired. During his retirement, he and Joy moved to Harriman, Tennessee.

He has four surviving children: Dallas Whitmill – wife, Tonya; Darrel Whitmill – wife, Vickie; Wendy Kivett, and John Kivett. Surviving siblings include Robin (Whitmill) Lanham – husband, Mark; Cindy Sutton – husband, Vernon; Jim Sisson – wife, Dawn; and Kym Danier. Six grandchildren: Alivia Lunsford, Coleman Whitmill, Nathaniel Whitmill, Jonathan Whitmill, Bryson Whitmill, and Olivia Kivett (preceded).

Receiving of family and friends for a Celebration of life will be held at McDonald Road SDA Church, 5440 McDonald Road, McDonald, TN 37353, on December 27, 2022, from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given in memory of Tim Whitmill to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, Inc. online at www.drif.org or by mail 200 S. Norman Howard Creason

Norman Howard Creason passed away in Nashville, TN on December 6, 2022 at the age of 84. He was born in Cumberland County Tennessee on January 19, 1938 to the late Barry Albert Creason and Ethel Potter Creason.

Mr. Creason grew up in the Crossville, TN area and his vast career took he and his family to: Ohio, Missouri, Florida, and back to Tennessee. He was a witty, light-hearted, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all he knew. He will be dearly missed!

Mr. Creason was preceded in death by his parents; wife- Alida Jones Creason; granddaughter- Jerrita Baker; grandson- Larry Norman Rich; son-in-law- Larry “Bo” Rich; brother- Everett Creason; and sisters- Eula Schubert and Jean Largent.

He is survived by his daughter- Patricia Rich of Sparta, TN; son- David Creason and wife Mary of Lascassas, TN; grandsons- Kyle Creason of Smyrna, TN and Kevin Creason of Cookeville, TN; sisters- Helen Beatty of Galion, OH and Ruby Rooker of Nashville, TN; special friend- Eva Montgomery; and numerous friends from Sparta, Crossville, and Smithville, TN.

Visitation for Mr. Creason will be held Friday, December 9, 2022f at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home from 6 to 8pm. The Graveside service will be held at Robinson Chapel Cemetery in White County (Sparta) Tennessee on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11am.

Dorothy Louise Tebault

Dorothy Tebault, age 81, was born on April 19, 1941 to the late Eddie and Lucille (Sawyer) Land in Norfolk, VA. She passed away on December 7, 2022 in Crosville, TN.

She is survived by her husband Robert “Bobby” Linwood Tebault; sons Robert “Scott” (Joyce) Tebault and Mark (Renee) Tebault; grandchildren Robert Jared (Shannon) Tebault, John (Taylor) Tebault, Joseph Tebault, Paula Tebault, Lucas Tebault, and Ty Tebault; and great grandchildren Braylyn Hallberg, Brantley Tebault, Jameson Tebault, Courtlynn Tebault, and Colt Tebault.

Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:30-6pm with the service to follow at 6pm, John Qualmann officiating.

Tammy Ann Douglas

Tammy Douglas, age 49, was born on February 2, 1973 to Bill and Nancy Norrod in Jersey City, NJ. She passed away on December 3, 2022 in Crossville ,TN.

She is survived by her parents William Vinson Norrod and Nancy Ann (Geraud) Norrod; husband Kedric Allen Douglas; children Trey Lee Norrod, Tyler Vincent Norrod, and Amber Douglas; and sister Donna Jones.

Services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12-2pm with the service to follow at 2pm, Pastor Clyde Schulz officiating. Burial will be in Mayland Cemetery immediately following the service.

George William Aldrich

George William Aldrich Jr., age 49, was born December 14, 1972 to George William and Vickie Lynn Wilburn Aldrich in Kosciusko Co., IN and passed away on November 30, 2022 in Crossville, TN. He was a man who loved his family, working out, going to car shows with his dad, and jet skiing on the lake.

He is survived by his dad- George William Aldrich Sr., special friend- Annmarie Flewelling, mother of his children- Heather Gordon, children- Christian Dean Aldrich, Andrew James Aldrich (Rachel), Kaylee Marie Aldrich (Jordan), and Julie Duncan, grand daughter- Liberty, siblings- Angela Fitzpatrick (Will) and Miranda Zorn (Randal), nephews- Eric, Victoria, and Zachary Zorn and niece- Hannah Likens.

He is preceded in death by his mother-Vickie Lynn Wilburn Aldrich.

The family will receive friends December 5, 2022 from 11 to 1 with service to follow. Craig Ward will officiate and burial will be in Crossville City Cemetery.

Phyllis Parham

Funeral Services will be held at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, December 4th, 2022 with a Visitation in the Main Chapel from 11 AM – 1 PM and will have a funeral service at 1 PM. Family and Friends will Lay Ms. Phyllis to rest in Green Acres Memorial Gardens following the service.

David Lee Ford

David Ford, age 76, was born on December 6, 1945 to William and Martha Ford in Crossville, TN. He passed away on November 27, 2022 in Crossville, TN.

David is survived by his children Susan (Charles) Littzi, Melissa Littzi, LeeAnn Littzi, Melissa Munez, Travis Ford, and Kelly Ford; brother William (Betty) Ford; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Arli Ford and Martha Irene (Lee) Ford; and sons-in-law David Littzi and Dominick Littzi.

Services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with the service to follow at 1pm, Ralph Reagan officiating. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery immediately following the service.
