Rhonda Lynn Garner, 62, of Crossville, TN, passed away on January 22, 2012.  Her family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2012, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home.  Directly following the visitation at 6:00 will be a memorial service. Pastor Scott White will officiate the service. Interment will be at a later date in Baker’s Forge Cemetery in LaFollette, TN.

Rhonda was born on May 7, 1949, to Harley and Verla Stephens in Athens, TN.  She spent her life as a teacher and image consultant after getting her Masters in Economics.  She was an independent businesswoman; she spoke at several conventions, many at Disney World, and had several television appearances.  While teaching, she taught courses on color and design, fashion marketing, and economics.  She loved animals, especially cats, and had a special fondness for cats no longer wanted.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Garner, brother, Ralph Stephens and wife Irene, and many loving cousins.  Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Verla Stephens, and husband, Bob Garner.
